As Director of Nursing, Katie believes that effective leadership involves working alongside her team rather than above them. I came to Harmony Cedar Rapids for rehabilitation after a fall. I needed a lot of strengthening, and they really helped me feel prepared to return home by providing exercises I could do at home. The therapists are wonderful. I loved being able to joke around and enjoy my time while in therapy. I would also like to recognize Anna and Amy (CNAs). They were terrific and helpful. After a prolonged hospital stay led to muscle atrophy, my brother James needed a place that offered both physical and occupational therapy to help him regain his strength. Nurses like Melanie and Trisha went out of their way to make him comfortable. Lisa, his occupational therapist, was particularly resourceful.
